Premium King Size Bedsheet — क्या बनाती है एक Bedsheet को सच में Premium?
हर ब्रांड अपनी bedsheet को "premium" कहता है। लेकिन असली premium और marketing premium में फ़र्क होता है। इस गाइड में हम उन पाँच चीज़ों की बात करेंगे जो एक bedsheet को सच में premium बनाती हैं — और वो गलतियाँ जो ₹3,000+ खर्च करने के बाद भी निराश कर सकती हैं।
1. Fabric Purity — सबसे पहली बात
100% long-staple cotton — यही premium का पहला पैमाना है। Egyptian cotton, Supima cotton, या Indian Pima cotton — ये सब long-staple variety हैं जिनके fiber लंबे होते हैं। लंबे fiber से smooth, pilling-resistant fabric बनती है। Short-staple cotton या polyester blend को premium कहना misleading है।
2. Thread Count — सच और झूठ
- 200–400 TC: percale के लिए sweet spot — ठंडा, breathable, टिकाऊ
- 400–600 TC: sateen के लिए सही — silky, smooth feel
- 600–800 TC: tightly woven, stiff लगने लगती है
- 800+ TC: multi-ply yarn से बनाई जाती है — यह marketing trick है, quality नहीं

एक premium king size bedsheet wash के बाद भी 108×108 इंच के आसपास रहनी चाहिए। Cheap fabric 5–10% shrink होती है पहले कुछ washes में। Pre-washed fabric या pre-shrunk cotton वाली sheets ज़्यादा reliable होती हैं।
5. Care Guide — Premium Bedsheet को लंबे समय तक Premium रखें
- ठंडे या lukewarm पानी में wash करें — गर्म पानी fiber कमज़ोर करता है
- Mild, pH-neutral detergent इस्तेमाल करें — harsh detergent cotton को rough बनाता है
- Fabric softener avoid करें — यह cotton fiber की absorbency कम करता है
- Direct sunlight में लंबे समय तक मत सुखाएँ — colors fade होते हैं
- Iron करें — cotton percale crisp और fresh लगती है ironing के बाद
