Our plain shawls are made in the Bhagalpuri style — plain-weave cotton at a good GSM. Plain weave is the simplest weave, with each thread passing over one and under the next, giving an even, breathable cloth that drapes softly and shows solid colour cleanly.

For care, wash the first time separately in cold water with mild detergent, dry in shade and iron on a medium cotton setting. Cotton can shrink slightly on the first wash, so avoid hot water.
